Does the contacts import feature keep the categories you had set in google contacts? If I update a contact in google contacts, does that auto import to nextcloud?

For calendar, if I subscribe to a calendar url, will that also get imported? Just like contacts, if I add a calendar event in google calendar, does that get added into nextcloud automatically?

I have set it up and the contacts group is not imported and calendar events are not auto-synced to nextcloud

Wow, that's really interesting. What I'm planning to do is to install Nextcloud on my Synology NAS and then migrate my Google Account contents over to my own Nextcloud. However, there's something I didn't understand from your video. Are those data actually copied into your server or they are just linked to Google? To be more specific: are your google photos copied and saved on your server or they are still somewhere on Google servers?

Thanks for that how to. My google drive syncs like 5% to my nextcloud but then just stops. Any idea why that might be?

Great video. Is the sync with Google two-way? I.e. can you create new calendar events, contacts, etc. in NextCloud and they will be visible in Google UI?

When I get to the Authorized redirect URI I can't connect it because "it must end with a public top-level domain"

Does this mean I can only do this if I have a domain?

My NextCloud instance is not public and I access it via VPN

I'd love to install a server with Nextcloud in my house and another server in the house of my parents. There is any way to sync both servers? How to do that? My grandfather live in another country. I'd love to put another server in that other country too. (I don't have that much money to buy right now 3 computers but I'd love to know anyway).
It's possible to have 3 different servers, in different places and to sync between them? the app of the smartphone could auto detect the nearest to upload or download files? Thank you.

1. will the google photo API only sync both ways? or can I sync down one way from google to nextcloud and then delete them off the cloud?

2. if I want to set this up for my family, does it mean that I have to create 1 project per person?

Anyone else having an issue where Google Drive import is SUUUPER slow and then gets stuck on a percentage? I've cancelled the import and tried again and now it doeesn't get past 0%, even if I leave it for hours/days

"Oh-auth", not "zero-auth". It's short for Open Authorization.

Google API doesn't accept the nextcloud url. Says that it needs to be a higher domain, with .com at the end. Can someone help me?
