Fantastic video. We humans are stronger than we think but every step needs planning, never do 2 steps in once.Keep living people

Thank you Gert. As a fit older person having been an endurance cyclist for 30 years and a cyclist for about the same time prior, and having in later life been diagnosed with COPD, largely as a result of frequent unavoidable cycling in heavy traffic and breathing in high levels of particulate, I can seriously relate to the recovery breathing in particular and other breathing techniques you demonstrate. Thank you! Season's Greetings

I'm a novice watching freedive techniques for a week or so and trying it every day in the sea. And all I got with every new video is more and more questions and a totally burned back as a result of 2 hours of trying to duck dive with no good result. Now... You Answered all of my questions in one video. Love you man! Thanks!!!!

I think some people have problems with equalization because they are not aware of some groups of muscles they can/need to train and control to open their eustachian tubes, so most important thing at the beginning is to learn how to do it. I think no matter if you are using valsalva or frenzel. If they are blocked, it won't work. You just apply high pressure to a closed valve.

For example I can easily push the air into my nose cavity without ear equalization, if I don't open my tubes consciously before. They can be also blocked in some head positions. I have found it's easier for me with the chin on my chest and can be really hard with eyes pointing down.

I suffer from severe anxiety to where I got a stroke at 29 😓. After that, I changed the way I view life and manage stress. Im scuba certified but struggled to practice due to my anxiety, but I will get back soon. I was recommended free diving because it suppose to bring this immense peace in you and that you learn how to control your body mentally. That’s something that I need to work on. Thanks so much for this video it will help me with my new journey! 🙏

Congrats Mr Leroy. Probably the best video i've seen to proper beginners. Amazing stuff. The visualization of the breath up and final breath was incredible

Thank you so much with all your techniques. I just had my intro- and first diving yesterday, I had trouble to equalize due to colds 🤧but I manage to duck dive because of your tips. ☺️ I’m looking forward to dive again when I feel better 🥰

Thank you so much. I've watched other instructors but they never give the real information as clear as you do. 🤙🏾

Great video! I just started learning freediving yesterday as a non-swimmer. Started at 5 meters and it was so fun I’m going back on the 26th. I will definitely bring these tips with me, since I especially need to work on my “banana shaped” position (lot’s of neck tension 😅) and equalization.
