I used to get drawn into shows like this. There are a LOT of people supporting the idea that the plant based diet is the way to go. I grew up in a yoga ashram and vegetarianism certainly goes hand and hand with the yoga tradition. I think the fact that I enjoy yoga also kept me being vegetarian for longer than I might have otherwise. Sadly, the plant based vegetarian dogma is so prevalent in the yoga community and people truly believe they are doing the healthiest thing for themselves and the planet. I am grateful to have found a yoga teacher that lives on a farm and eats eggs and beef! Very rare.... but there are some of us yogis out there that love yoga and meat! Thanks for sharing the great message of how essential meat is for our well being. I am grateful for the videos and your supplements!

Hi, i'm from Sardinia. Among the centerarian here no one is vegan but no one is carnivore either. They eat most of all milk (and darivates), vegetables, beans and fruit. They also eat meat but it's isn't the most eaten food. What is really crucial for the Mediterranean diet is the olive oil.

I have family and spent a few summers in a blue zone Ikaria Greece. I can strongly say that most meals were fish and red meat, mostly lamb. All of our vegetables were actually fruits with diets rich in tomatoes and cucumber. Every time I visit my skin clears, gut issues go away, even low back pain disappears.

Watched the documentary and asked my Greek friend who visits Greece twice a year if he really only eats greens and he laughed and told me all they eat is meat

I was stationed in Okinawa 2015-2018 while I was active duty. Okinawans eat A LOT of pork and seafood even outside of just sushi and ramen. Hell, one of the signature Okinawan dishes is their soba which utilizes pork as its base. I always laugh whenever I see people eating plant based thinking it's what Okinawans do.

I remember dating a girl when I was there who was vegan and into the whole yoga thing but eventually started eating meat again when she started feeling lethargic and her doctor told her she wasn't getting enough B vitamins.

I knew you'd be coming to rescue with this one! 🙌 It was so obvious that they conveniently left out the role meat plays in these cultures as well. Keep doing what you do, Paul 💪

How often is it, that the truth - same as this - is the COMPLETE opposite of the mainstream message...?!
Great clip.

The longest living people in Sardinia are the people of Ogliastra, these people are primarily goat herders.

I asked my great aunt, who was 105 years old: what is your secret to live so long? She goes: I’m a carnivore. From that day on I never a a vegan day again.

In Japan when you go to an Okinawan restaurant the menu is always full of meat dishes. My two favorites are braised pork and bitter melon sautéed with egg and pork.

I can speak for the case of Greece as I have multiple relatives that have lived over 90; In the majority of Greece, the amount of full fat dairy and meat derivatives (specifically bone broth) in the diet is way too significant to be overlooked.
