Real, a successful conversation without any awkwardness or confusion is a rare event

And it was like a two minute conversation at the drive through 😂

Rarely happens for me, the aftermath of interactions usually ends up with me questioning everything i did and said and how i may have embarrassed myself or been too boring. 😂

1-2-3-4 glance away 1-2-3-4 smile a bit more 1-2-3-4 nod like I get their point. Keep the rhythm!

Bahahahah
I feel like I won or lost a sports game everytime I interact with a person.

Gotta stop people pleasing and learn to respect yourself ❤ when you be honest with yourself, you'll attract those who want to be near you for you, not because they want to use you.

I love when I nail a good conversation. Doesn’t happen *too* too often.

I will prepare for conversations by going through it in my head and thinking of all the stuff someone will say and thinking of what my responses would be

I was a shift leader at a restaurant, and every time a customer came up to ask for something or need help with something, and if i was able to have the information and able to say it all out in one go and they give me a normal response back and what I said was good enough for them to walk away, would make me take such a deep breath after I would turn around to walk away.

😂😂😂😂😂 It's something I'm finally trying to learn more! I'm 26 and just started doing it mindfully. Why? Because I'm sick of people misjudging me and misunderstandings. I want to be someone people enjoy to be with. Of course not everyone will like me but with the one I like, I want to try to make them feel good. Of course without disrespecting my needs and by allowing myself to make mistakes ❤

Having to go out and be social at a family get together or going to get groceries and having to speak with the cashier is tough asf. But having it go well and it being surprisingly pleasant is such a mood booster, it makes me feel like I’ve finally done smth right and I’m not a total failure or a lost cause after all lol
It’s the little things these days like seemingly meaningless small talk that reminds myself I’m still learning and I’ll never be perfect and recovery is a journey, not a destination

I decided to unmask at work and now I'm the comic relief and whenever start a conversation or say "can I ask you something" my colleagues go "ohhh oookaaayyy here we goooo 😄🤭" like I'm about to say something super goofy. Like, no one takes me seriously
