Numerical Modeling: Define Modeling Objectives and Create grid
Показать описание
This video explores the first two steps in the numerical modeling workflow within Visual MODFLOW Flex.
These steps are the ‘Define Modeling Objectives’ and ‘Create Grid’ steps.
The purpose of the Define Modeling Objective step is to specify the overall purpose of your model (i.e. which type of groundwater and transport modeling will be performed). This allows Visual MODFLOW Flex to generate the basic input file structure which will be expanded on in future workflow steps.
Once the modeling objectives are defined you can create or import a model grid. The Create Grid workflow step allows you to specify the structure of your model grid, including the overall model extents, number and size of rows/columns/layers, and whether a grid rotation will be applied.
