Conceptual Modeling: Define Objectives and Conceptual Model

This video describes the first few steps in the conceptual modeling workflow: Defining Modeling Objectives and Defining the Model Structure.

The Define Modeling Objective step allows you to specify the overall purpose of your model (i.e. which type of groundwater and transport modeling will be performed). This allows Visual MODFLOW Flex to generate the basic input file structure which will be expanded on in future workflow steps.

The Define Model Structure workflow step is where you define the model area, or the outside edge of your model domain. This step is accomplished using a polygon data object.
