Texas paying higher home insurance rates

In Texas last year, homeowners paid an average of $237 more for insurance coverage. That’s according to the website PolicyGenius.

And property taxes, voted for proposition one and two and our taxes never went down. Austin just voted for lowering property taxes too but we’ll see constituents continue to wait on lower property taxes to go down as promised but it seems it will never happen.

Last year I paid 1320 this year I got quoted 1200 by a different company for the same coverage. Make sure you shop around.
