What do you expect when a starter home goes from 200k to 400-500k?

yup my premimum shot up almost $1000 more this year for renewal, and that's the cheapest I've been able to find while getting quotes from other companies!

The answer is to start budgeting up? Lol you can "budget-up" all day long but if prices keep going up, eventually you'll fall out of the budget. Wtf

The state can stop approving all the insurance companies requests for the rise in price. The state has to approve these. Don't give me this bull that it can't be fixed.

These outrageous prices are pushing people out of these states (NY NJ FL TX) 💔🥴 Where are these people supposed to go? What states are still affordable?

Our home is paid for so we are able to forego insurance however that doesn't mean you can do it without preparing we have replacement value set aside.
