Good to see you out on the bobber again. The weather recently really has been atrocious. I hope the GS repairs didn’t turn out too expensive!

I've luckily never had a flat on the bike caused by a nail (crossing my fingers while writing this) but it must be such an annoyance, especially when you see lads getting them stuck in brand new tyres. I agree that running racing lines on the road is a very risky game, it only ever works if you know the road AND it's clear to see, for example no hedges or trees blocking the way. Knowing the roads too well can also be your downfall like you said because you might not expect there to be traffic, downed tree, oil, gravel anything really. Sure people always so most accidents occur very close to your home because you start to relax and go into auto-pilot. Ride safe man! Hope to make it up to Dublin this year for a spin, would love to see the bobber running! Saw a creamish/white one in the RDS on display, they're a gorgeous bike.
