I've been really thinking about getting an older F800GS. I really like the old headlight style and the ride height.

Find your video because I was looking for confirmation on my recent purchase. I put a down payment on a 2016 F800 GSA w/1, 315mi for $9K. That old a bike will be cheap insurance also. I'm sure I'll like it. BTW, thanks for the purchase affirmation.

It sure seems that the T7 and 790 tried to reinvent the early F800GS with the low slung gas tank and middle weight parallel twin, focused on offroad instead of touring. U can find a used F800GS for under $5k now with lower center of gravity than T7 and less problems than a 790.

Better if you talk when your engine makes less noise

I'm sure I'd shut up if I rode one but newer BMW bikes are ugly as sin to me.

lol... i wish my policy was only 1000 a year. 2100 bucks... and its a fuckin 400cc underpowered himalayan. only one company is willing to insure me due to not having my full M license(which takes 3 years in canada to achieve). it's such a ripoff. i'm thinking of an f800gs right now but i bet it'll be easily 3 grand a year. i'm 27, no accidents no tickets. i can't imagine how bad it'd be if i were closer to 20.
