I love watching your videos. The Maps are always interesting to watch. I remember watching Part 28 when it came out. It was hysterical.

What a lot of people need to realize when reading this information is how the information is obtained. For example, the U.S. has an extremely high rate of incarcerated people compared to the rest of the world and people automatically equate that to the U.S. being extremley dangerous. However, a high incarceration rate can also mean the country takes crimes seriously, follows up with reports, spends time investigating and has a good rate at catching the criminals. A lot of countries have low incarceration rates not simply because they are safe countries but because they either lack a useful police force, reports are not taken seriously or ever looked into, time/money is not spent on investigating a lot of crimes and a lot of criminals are simply just never caught and brought to justice.
That is just one example but plenty of these maps although visually interesting lack context and are often interpreted incorrectly.

These videos are so interesting I wish I could like it twice. I have to watch on .75 speed because I want to see the maps longer and fully take in what he's saying.

Sometimes you say to stop a video to read a map. However, the maps are too small to read: and even when the video can be zoomed in, the resolution is not high enough for the words to be read.

What would really help would be if you did the videos in the normal landscape orientation.

For the cousin marriage one exception usually applies to more a marriage for financial purposes. Like where I live in Wisconsin cousins can marry if they are unable to reproduce and specifically over a certain age.

Actually learned about why Indiana is a pink state while in home ec years ago.
The exception, if I'm remembering correctly, is that the individuals have to be elderly so that conception would be basically out of the question.
