Im from Denmark, my grandmother died a week before her 100year birthday, my grandfather died 3 weeks later as a 99year old! So yeah, We do live a long time here!

Just an exception on Brazil: if you are born in Brazil to foreign parents... and at least one of them is in service of their nation... then you aren't Brazilian.

Imagine Juan is the Spanish ambassador in Brazil... married to someone which is not Brazilian and has a child, Juan Jr. here, Juan Jr. is not Brazilian.

(and if you are born to Brazilian parents outside... worst case is you can become Brazilian if you want to)

As someone who resides in the state of Texas, the map on whether it's legal to own a raccoon is wrong. It is illegal to own any native species in the state of Texas. But yet the laws on exotic species are pretty laxed... It's messed up.

I believe the citizenship one isnt entirely accurate. Definitely varies more by country. My mom is a Belgian citizen because she was born in Belgium, despite being born to American, and not Belgian, parents, who only lived there for a few years.

I came here to make this same comment. Yes, once a child made it through toddlerhood it was likely they could live 70, 80, 90 years. But, due to poor medical knowledge it was difficult for the young or old and vulnerable to survive a fever.

A map that opened my eyes was one sent to me by a buy in Australia. The map had Australia at the top with south at the top and north at the bottom. Sure looked strange but who gets to say that north has to be at the top?
