Are All PUFAs Unhealthy? (Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids)

PUFAs stands for polyunsaturated fatty acids. Most of these are liquid at room temperature and commonly found in fish, plant-based oils, seeds, and nuts.

Unlike saturated fat, which has no double bonds in it's chemical structure, polyunsaturated fats have more than one double bond. (If a fat molecule has one double bond, it's called a monounsaturated fat.

The two major classes of polyunsaturated fats are omega-3 and omega-6 fats, both of which are essential for brain function and cell growth. The term "essential" signifies that they can't be made by the body and thus must come from dietary sources.

The most important factors to consider here ultimately are the omega 6 to omega 3 ratio of the food, whether the food has been stored in conditions that would cause it to have oxidized and rancid oils, and whether the food comes from a source like GMO soy or corn or ideally from something much higher quality, non-GMO, and richer in omega 3s.

Hiya,
could you please give me an advise for some supplements which will help me get rid of my chronic inflammation? I'm taking Curcumin (Turmeric) tablets but I want do support it more. I've heared that Omega3 with long chain helps-for example BalanceOil from Zinzino which contains polyphenols which is also beneficial. Is it good choice? I've also heared that Aloe Vera and Oregano oil is anti-inflammantory. Which is the best to pick? I have chronic inflammation in my gum and in esophagus and hypothyreosis.
Thank you very much 🙏
