Recovery in hospital 2 days, Hugh. Try 3 weeks because of perastomal hernia. 9 hour surgery. Had this twice. Spent 2 hours just cutting out adhesions. Developed an illeius both times. Both operations failed within one month. I was about 60lbs over weight. This probably contributed to the failed hernia operations.

I am awaiting surgery for a large abdominal incisional hernia, I must lose weight before surgery can be attempted. I cannot find any information about the kind of exercises I need to do whilst I am trying to lose weight and eating healthily, I also have diabetes and am currently self isolating because of the Worldwide Covid-19 virus. Has anyone found any effective exercises that be done indoors and can be found online ?
