5 Theories About What Lies Outside The Observable Universe!

About 13.75 billion years ago, our universe as we know it today was created. Shortly thereafter, the primordial light began to shoot through the cosmos and spread throughout the entire early universe. At this time the universe itself also expanded. However, the inflation of the universe slowed down after the first initial eruption, but since then the rate of expansion has been steadily increasing due to the influence of increasing dark energy. In essence, the cosmos has been growing at an ever-increasing rate since its creation. Physicists and mathematicians have been studying the nature of the universe for hundreds of years, trying to solve the mysteries it contains. But there are some scientists who go one step further into the unknown by thinking about what lies beyond the boundaries of our universe. Is it possible that there is something else beyond the existence of our universe? Other universes, worlds whose existence we can only guess at? That could well be the case. Here are five theories about what this "something" could be and what clues there are for the various theories.

I remember realising this as a kid. Like, you can’t imagine ‘nothing’. It’s not black, it’s not white, like what even is nothing

When you go out to far, it just displays a timer saying that you will fail the mission in 10 seconds

Imagine how confident ancient humans were that the way they interpreted what they saw when they looked up at the sky was accurate. Now, imagine what humans thousands of years from now might think about how we interpret what we see when we look up!

I've thought about this since I was very young. I'm now 61, and I still feel the same way. For instance, let's say there is another 50 million universes outside of this one. Well, what would be outside of that ? It seems impossible for it to stop, but it also seems impossible that it can't stop. Like infinity, looking at an ocean appears infinite, but there is land outside of it. Infinity is a very bizarre thing to imagine.

Our ignorance expands at the same rate as our knowledge. The more we know, the more we realize how little we know.

What’s extremely interesting is that all these theories and methods have been thought up in our minds… kind of insane how powerful of a computer the mind is.

Imagine when you die, all of the universe great mysteries and secrets, the origin, the beginning, the creator, everything is revealed to you. Imagine being on a front row seat as you take a comfortable journey with some divine being that shows you the whole universe, what's beyond and answers all of your desired questions. Now wouldn't that be cool?

The answer to these questions is that we’ll just always end up with more questions. You can never define a dead-end; “what’s beyond this?” Etc

There will always be unanswered questions no matter how many things we discover.

I just really hope that before I die, we discover something absolutely groundbreaking about the universe. Be it what the edge of the universe looks like, dark matter, proof or disproof of God, what happens to the soul/consciousness after death, proof of aliens, SOMETHING! Kind of upsetting having all these questions that seem impossible to answer.

I had this crazy dream that the universe was inside a 6x6 inch box sitting on a table as decoration. Like a futuristic species figured out how to make micro universes and sell them for rich decor, I looked at it for what felt like 10 minutes and it was 90% black but had insane colored hard to see dots (I know this sounds cheesy) the colors were bright but so small u couldn’t see what color it was. I could see from one end to the other but can’t describe how tiny yet observable each dot was, there was so many but u could just look right past them like there’s not enough planets to line up and block other side, I had this dream like 2 years ago

The possibility of other planets in another galaxy or universe where they house intelligent species like us humans but became extinct millions of years ago or even recently is just mind-blowing.

Things you can’t imagine with your brain:
-New color
-The real size of nothingness of outer space

Every time I watch video about the universe, I realize how insignificant we are. Stay grounded. There's no point in fighting with each other.

Here's what I think. I think that every theory we have is wrong or incomplete. In my mind there have to be more particles out there that do something that we either haven't observed or cannot observe.

i still want to believe that our universe is just a kind of an atom in a bigger universe, which lies outside the hubble limit. like the protons of an atom in this bigger universe are actually the center of mass of our universe, and the electrons, as we can measure them this day, are the biggest influential clusters of material orbiting this center. im sure there are smaller things than an atom or even elementary particles (we just cant really see/measure them yet), which could be the stars and planets as we know them. so we are maybe just an atom of a stone lying in the sun at the beach of a bigger "world". this loops several times until it reaches back into our universe, which could be an atom of another stone lying in your garden.
acid is a hell of a drug.

It wouldn’t surprise me if eventually it’s found that our entire “Universe’, as we know it, will be nothing more, or less, than a subatomic-like particle of a larger universe, which is itself another “sub-atomic” particle of an even larger Universe, and it goes on forever.
