Some alien: “where are we at with that world”
Other alien: “so they split an atom”
Some alien: “oh good they developed nuclear energy”
Other alien: “that’s not initially what they used it for but yeah.”
Some alien: “What”

My dad was working for the Forest Service in that area when it happened. His only comment, "Yeah. That was a weird incident ".

Those fire in the Sky alien depictions legit scared me as a kid. Also, something to be said when a group of people keep the same story for that many years

Thanks for going over this case, favorite UFO incident of all time. And Fire in the Sky is still scary as hell.

Huh, I always wondered why only recently theirs been so many sightings of UFO's and (insert aliens meme here) but that theory you mentioned about splitting the atoms catching their attention makes a lot of sense. I mean, if the prairie dogs in the fields around my home were to suddenly start using shovels and tools to do their digging, I'd raise an eyebrow as well.

I don't often comment but great video once more Roanoke! Really enjoying all the content on both your channels.

Imagine claiming you were abducted back in the day just to have the aliens check their records and call you a liar on tik tok live.

Nice! One of my favorite stories! Not only because I'm an Arizona native, but also because when my mom was in college at Arizona State University in the late 70's, she had some kind of public speaking course where she had an assignment to organize a guest speaker. She invited Travis Walton to come, and he came and and spoke to a VERY packed auditorium about his experiences. Much more packed than the professors guest speaker, apparently, so she ended up not getting the best grade. The interesting thing about it for her, and what she said about the experience of meeting with him, was that he just seemed like a quiet guy from a small town. Nothing about him seemed like he was seeking publicity, he just had a weird experience and wanted to share it. I honestly don't know if it was a hoax or not, I'd err on the side of thinking it was real just based on what my mom's genuine take was of him. But that personal connection to it from my moms experience with it always makes this one of my favorite paranormal stories.

The whitest kids you know skit got it solid. They try selling aliens are real and one dudes like: “ We wouldn’t happen to be invading Iran today would we? “ and the White House press secretary is like “ Ahhh ya got me. “ lol. RIP Trevor Moore

Another frightening thing that could occur if or when we ask an alien species about our abductions, is that they themselves have very similar stories from their history and they don't really have an explanation for them either.

I’m just happy to know that the aliens are kind enough to drop him off at a gas station instead of the middle of nowhere.

Also worth noting that hypnosis can actually cause trauma, due to making suggested events 'real' in the minds of those undergoing it.

I’ve watched a couple of your episodes and now, I’m hooked. And, subbed. Keep up the great work.

Everything was Star Wars back in the day. I was 6 years old when I first saw Star Wars (the original and the second best; Empire Strikes Back is the best, in my opinion). Anyway, I thought, in my young mind, that everything that had a spaceship, robots, and aliens, was related to that classic film. I was wrong. In the early 80s, I saw the science documentary show called Nova and that particular episode featured the Travis Walton abduction story. It was an eye-opener and mind-expander to my young self. It was frightening and fascinating simultaneously. The sight of those aliens in those wonderful illustrations were weird, scary, and real?

That was a problem for my young mind at the time. I thought aliens were nothing more than fiction back then. Travis Walton’s story made it real. Now, this is regardless of whether you or anyone actually think this is real or an elaborate hoax.

All I’ll remember are those awful alien eyes staring at me forever.

Fire in the sky scared the shit out of me as a kid. I thought it was gonna happen to me too, because my name is Travis too. It may have also started my fascination with UFOs and aliens.

You should do a top 5 series of the most compelling evidence for specific topics like ufo stuff, Bigfoot, etc

Fire In The Sky absolutely traumatized me as a kid

That Fire in the Sky movie freaked me the flip out when I was a kid. They shot that thing so seriously and hair-raisingly that it made my "other" nightmares so much worse. I didn't dream about alien abductions but some "other" archetypes that fit the same feeling as alien encounters or sleep paralysis demons/succubus. So. This movie fueled my subconscious. Communion did, too. Be careful what you let kids watch. I watched a lot of weird crap I probably shouldn't have and most of it didn't bother me at all, but sometimes things just worm into your brain--especially if you already have a fear that you have no idea how to deal with.

I think Aliens learned their lesson not to leave technology since if a human finds it, they'll go apecrazy with power and manifest destiny.

Travis said the space ship interior was very clean & sterile, much like a doctor’s office. The aliens backed off once they seen he was terrified so they couldn’t have had bad intentions. Also the movie omits the “human” beings aboard the craft. All evidence points to them helping him rather than forcibly kidnapping him, they returned him relatively unharmed
