One of the old Dark Horse Aliens comics had the facehuggers going crazy and attacking xenomorphs, but it never showed the result. I think the facehuggers were possessed by a ghost (I kid you not). The cover art did depict a xenomorph that looked like it could've burst out of another xenomorph, but the art was pretty stylized so it could've just been artistic license. The comic was Aliens: Havoc and the cover art was issue #1, I believe, for anyone curious enough to look it up.
