You know I've watched that performance over and over and over again cuz it's so great and now everyone else is into it and I'm like where have you been I've been here all along

And Stevie truly meant every “never” she sang. You can feel it. There are few perfect performances of a song. This is one of them.

This performance to head up a reunion tour The Dance tour in 1997 was incredible This special concert at MTV was the first time Silver Springs is included on any tour. Stevie really lets it all out. I tear up every time. It was omitted from Rumours originally. After this performance aired it was a hit. But no one had heard it because it was left off of Rumours. It got major airplay, nominated for a grammy and added to the remastered release of Rumours in 2005 and included in future concerts. Love it.

You can feel the rage when she looks at him, but the way he looks at her at the end of "landslide" at the same performance. There's a lot still there. "Fine line between love and hate".

She’s feeling raw old emotional ….things looks like anger in the voice power, almost the Scarlett OHara thing. Shame I agree W Mick Fleetwood those two never truly mended fences bc time is passing….you never know what it may bring….So Scarlett? ( Stevie) ironically she adored old film stars Greta Garbo naming one. She also composed a song after her. It’s unique and lovely & mystical…as in all things Stevie!

With the song out comes the haunting sound of a woman singing in her voice that makes me think she was betrayed ( think Linds was married with kiddos after) she sang on her solo album w Sheryl Crow she was finally happy now” W H A T?

I wonder how Lindsey could play the guitar and sing these words if he had before his eyes a flood of images from their eight-year relationship whose traces and feelings they will carry as long as they live.. Or we are wrong to think that the still alive feelings are mentioned in the song because this deeply emotional song had its real premiere 20 years after its creation? I just know that nothing could stop them from renewing their relationship if there were mutual feelings..

Well, if she had not cheated with Mick and not done so much cocaine...that was the 70's ans 80's. Lindsey is married (was in '97, had been a while) has a life outside music and a family, she, well, doesn't.. Then she killed the band by running Lindsey off and pissed Christy off so bad, she went on tour with Lindsey...shortly before we lost her. so much destruction caused by one talented but disturbed lady with anger issues. This performance was just ok, but at least all were sober.
