I just saw Stevie Nicks last year. She sounded beautiful and lovely. She told stories about her life between each set and the last set was dedicated to Christine. There wasn't a dry eye in the house. Strangers bonded and sang with each other holding hands and hugging 🤗 It was a beautiful evening I will always remember 😊🌹

Pain, hurt, anger, and love are the ingredients that make the best art and music.

I saw Lindsey in a small theatre venue. He had at least 25 pre-tuned guitars lined up ready to show his immense skill in each song. He is phenomenal and was a large part of why they were such a success.

I love stevie nick’s husky voice, Rumours album was released when I was 14, still listening to it now in my sixties, it still makes me feel good ❤️

I have listened to Fleetwood Mac since I was in High School in the mid 70s. Their music was in the rotation in my car for years. We (my wife and I) were lucky enough to see them in concert (2014) the year that Christine came back on tour and Lindsey was still touring, so we got the complete band. It was like we were back in high school.

The Chain, sung live, is raw emotion, so powerful

Silver Springs live 97 is one of the most haunting, beautiful and goose bump giving songs I've ever heard in my long, long life. If you haven't seen it, get ready to be floored. it is beyond the pale.

I saw them in Minneapolis. They were a whole vibe. A time and era that cannot be reproduced. All of them alive and healthy and perfection☮️✌️

Great band. Christine, Stevie, and Lindsey wrote so many hits, phenomenal vocal performances with some of the best harmonies in popular music and rock n roll. The three took over the writing for Fleetwood Mac with "the White Album" or self titled album in 1975, I was 10 and had just began to start finding my own music. I grew up with them, and their stellar rock n roll. I adore them still. Rumours came out when i was 12, Mirage was reased in 1982, my senior year of high school. I can't imagine growing up without them; they were like friends telling me I could get through all the pain. RIP lovely Christine, God bless you for all those great tunes, I still play You Make Loving Fun at times. Heaven's corus got a bit better with Christine. Hey you guys, do they have keyboards in Heaven? Lol. We miss her too lovely Stevie. We adore the rest of you still. Thank you so very much, much love always!

This band was the most effed up one at the time, but its also why theyre so damn good. The raw pain, lyrical genius and drama assured them success. Infamous or famous, its interchangeable. By far my favorite. I rocked my children to silver springs and now im rocking my grandchildren to it. Not many bands around today with that level of success.

Memorable songs are usually some broken-hearted lovers' poetry set to music.

I love both of them, and it breaks my heart they didn't make it💔

And these songs were playing constantly on the radio when I was in junior High and High school, I can still remember where I was when I first heard "Sara"

Don't do drugs or cheat is the lesson Fleetwood Mac learned. They wouldn't have had as much turmoil... But without all the chaos, they wouldn't have manifested such musical alchemy. I hope they can heal from everything they endured.

"Go Your Own Way" is the greatest breakup song ever!

In the summer of 1977, I was on tour with Neil Sedaka, playing a few nights at a venue near Providence, RI, staying at a hotel in downtown Providence. On one of those nights, Fleetwood Mac was playing at the Civic Center. We (Neil's band) ran into Lindsey at the hotel, and he invited us up to his room to hang out. He had an acoustic guitar there, and our rap session turned into a guitar seminar. He never used a pick. Awesome. I started playing guitar with my fingers after that.

Later. at the pool, Stevie wobbled our way, stoned out of her gourd. I noticed that her handlers had strategically placed themselves between her and the pool, probably based on experience. She came over to us and mumbled something completely unintelligible. As she floated away, one of the handlers turned and said, "Sorry." It was kind of sad.

I knew nothing about what was going on between her and Lindsey at the time, but in retrospect, they each had very different ways of dealing with it. Lindsey was a soul lifter; Stevie was...well, someone who needed to escape something...pain, I guess. She was an intense, creative, passionate woman back then, and life on the road is already hard enough. To add the turmoil of a fractured relationship on toppa that, and have to "be professional" in the face of that, night after night—that'd be tough for anyone. Peace to both of them. 😎

when you think about it. it's pretty incredible they were able to tour and sing those songs repeatedly. singing the same hurtful lines and events over and over. And having to sing them with emotion and gusto! they're either really evolved or able to shut off feelings really well
