He manages to fool me in every game. It's not that I don't expect to be kicked into a hole, I just keep forgetting that it always happens in a cutscene. So I walk into the trap willingly, thinking "The second he shows his face I'm going to beat him into the ground"

...and then the cutscene starts and I'm in the damned hole once again.

Didn't know that could even happen, so much stuff still to discover and I'm impressed with the details in this game but I kinda wish he had different dialogue after you agro him again after you pleaded mercy, also I didn't expect him to say "shitshow" lol

I love how this simple action makes Patches more dynamic than he already is. I’m so glad he’s a recurring character

Now that you've unlocked the kneel emote, when Godrick says "I command thee kneel, " you can actually kneel to unlock a secret ending.

You'd think Patches would pull off a sneaky one shot cheap attack when you use that emote...
ya know, only a person like patches would do.

But nope.Dude actually stays true to his words, forgives you and lets you go

Hell..even if you let him kill you, There won't be a second round because unlike other Hostiled NPCs, He surprisingly forgets about it.

Honestly, I can't believe how endearing the guy is...Call it Stockholm syndrome but he manages to be likeable even if he betrays you.

I feel like they made patches motives much more understandable in this game. Even though he has the same personality

I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting him to actually return the favor. I think this iteration of patches just went from chaotic evil to chaotic neutral

The only time Patches would want you to kneel is when you’re close to a cliffs edge. Easy kick
