Can you help me offline with an updated version of this? Facebook pushed me into using hashtag topics instead of regular post topics and it looks like you really understand this system well. I haven't been able to get help and my organized posts are a useless. I'd be very grateful.

how do I add this to my groups I manage. some have it, others don't. I go to the fb section on managing groups but they have no solutions posted on the subject. thanks

I think only newer groups that were created after 2016-2017 have this feature to create topics of discussion. I cannot create topics on groups that I manage from 2015

Is this feature only available in certain types of groups or ???

To add Topics (i.e. tags), go to your group and click on the button ...More in the menu area. Then click on Edit Group Settings from the drop down. Scroll down and check the box that says, "Post Topics". Now you can use tags!! :-)
