Both of my children have this problem pretty badly, I myself don’t at all. We do everything but the steroids. I didn’t know that was an option. Something to keep in mind of it gets outta control. This is an issue i have. I wear my hair in a bun every single day. I haven't had my hair down in over a year. I'm so embarrassed it's so bad. When I brush my hair I have to sweep up the dandruff from the floor it makes huge piles I can't believe my eyes when I see it.

Yeah that works for the underlying issue. If you don’t take care of the improper hormonal balance, Is not going away. The yeast that causes dandruff everyone has it. It’s part of you and it will never go away.

The ketoconazole shampoo is called Nizoral. It worked great for me, my Dr. told me to leave it on for 10 minutes before rinsing off. I had the 2% prescription version.
