Thats a long drain line! Hopefully no issues with clogging. I like to keep the concealed condensate as short as possible because it's impossible to access if there is ever a clog. Where do you purchase the rough in box from? Are you using factory flares on that line set? Looks difficult to get a flare block in there.

Does it works good on 2x4 walls? or it has to be a 2x6?

I only have 2x4 walls. I now the lineset will fit in there, but I won't have a lot of space left over for insulation (fiberglass). I'm afraid of having a cold spot there (northern WI). Should I just go outside with it? It's just a garage, not a house.

Can this be done on 2 x 4 construction, I intend to install some mini splits in the future and right now I have the interior of the wall I'm putting the splits on completely gutted, it occurred to me I may be able to conceal my lines. I was going to install the DIY splits, any info would be greatly appreciated

Are all line sets the same for various manufacturers? Or are the specific to the brand of mini-split that you want to install?
