preview_player
Показать описание
This is a spray you can make on your own using, beer, mouthwash, and epsom salt and it completely gets rid of all mosquitoes. This spray is called Paul Harvey Spray and the recipe for this spray was given over the radio in the 80s and it is still being used to this day! Mosquitoes do not like the smell of mint and lavender and this spray makes your yard minty fresh and keeps the mosquitoes away.

Letting beer go flat is a form of alcohol abuse.

Your mosquitos won't have bad breath after getting drunk with the beer.

what did you want to do? attract mosquitoes to kill them or repel them? If you wanted to repel why did you put beer to atract them and salt to kill them? And if you wanted to atract to kill them, why did you add the scents of lavender and mint, which are used to repel?

Consider trying Dr Bonner’s peppermint oil soap. Natural, and last for at least a month or more! I use it in a hose end sprayer!

Thank you for the best video I've found so far on this recipe. I've found a few others on youtube, but they don't show the results!! Got the ingredients, can't wait to try it out. Two thumbs up and happily subscribed.

I tried this last year. My subdivision is built on reclaimed swamp land . Pretty sure the bugs played beer pong with it. It sure didn't keep them from biting.

Thank you for this video. I have sensitive skin and allergies to certain chemicals. You are very knowledgeable, I'd love hear more about natural remedies and healing. Regrowing some of the fruits and veges is very inspiring to learn survivual skills for me, because I grew up very poor.

I have a small Spa in my backyard in Florida and the mosquitoes will drive you crazy but if you put some lavender bubble bath in it they stay away.

Nice video but the question is, how long can this last? At least 2 days later, you still smell the minty freshness, but I wonder how much longer it will go.

The recipe is not right, I had made this and is 1cup of mouth wash, 3 beer can, 3 cup epson salt. Mix and let the complete epson salt dissolve (do not filter before it dissolve fully) after that spray the House or yard. The rationale is that the smell keep mosquitos away and the dissolved magnesium when dry on the yard it create a small salt barrier in witch. The mosquito don’t like so it cannot hide on the yard and fly to your neighbors yard. if heavy rain the magnesium is dissolved and you need to re apply, if not rain or very dry area it can last for up to 2 weeks

I guess next time you can Drink the beer, use the mouthwash and take a bath in the epsom salts!!!
Think I'll try it though!!! The mosquitoes in Ga are suicide bombers, I think it's a Battallion!!

Jag...have you tried growing citronella plants in your yard? Might help a bit...also, eucalyptus trees...you can make a natural repellent to wear with peppermint oil, tea tree oil or eucalyptus oil.

What about pollinators? Bees, lady beetles lacewings etc? The mouthwash and alcohol could affect them as they go after your fruit fly larvae and bees pollinate your fruit trees they could be caught in the alcohol wash or avoid pollinating altogether.
