You are a Godsend. I don't know what it is this year but mosquitoes, wasps & spiders have decided to really show off at my house. I got this product you were talking about & it's like a war torn bug battlefield out here now 😅. I can now sit outside and enjoy my mornings, evenings or nights without the insect irritations. Thank you so much for this informative and instructive video. This really works y'all.

This video has to be one of the most educational, thorough, easy to follow, and relevant videos that I have ever watched on Youtube.

I would also recommend using a growth regulator like Tekko Pro. Also, I like to switch up chemical every application. For example, I do Bifen IT + Tekko Pro on the first application. On the second, application I might do Temprid + NyGuard. It helps prevent bugs from developing any sort of immunity. You can vary the chemicals based on the most prevalent pest per season. In addition to chemicals, you want to make sure to fill cracks and crevice's with steel/copper wool and some caulk or by other means. And make sure to shake your container to mix your solution well before beginning an application.

I live in Vegas and use a combination of Onslaught Fastcap, I.G.R., and Termidor, quarterly.Inside all walls from attic down Cimexa Powder is good for up to 10 years, we have a lot of Scorpions, Widows and Recluse Spiders, I also use a yearly Systemic Insecticide for my Mesquite tree and plants.I Spray my property line as well as my foundation and garage. It seems overkill, but spraying property line help keep neighbors bugs coming over, I've found numerous dead buggies at the border.

Great video. I've been using Talstar for 15 years. Only problem I've ever had is when I sprayed in areas that didn't need it like bushes and around my foundation. Maybe it's a coincidence but I noticed that when I started doing that I saw a great reduction in things I want like preying mantis, toads, frogs etc.. I'm guessing I killed too much of their food source. Now I only spray inside and outside around window and door frames. It works just as well

You are an ANGEL. An adorable, helpful angel. Thank you so much for all of your hard work. I just moved to Tulsa, OK, from Portland, OR. I grew up in NY, so I have zero experience with Brown Recluse, but they're everywhere. It's horrific. Your videos have helped tame the problem. I wish your family's company plenty of success. I'd hire yall if I moved to Kentucky!!

As a licensed urban pest control technician myself if your someone who's doing house sprays like me I highly recommend wearing a fumigation mask as well as plastic overals that hood over your mask as well as yea these can get stinky which is why I get cheap overalls I can change daily and Always clean my mask, I definitely recommend a bifenthrin based product for exterior like biflex ultra, I also like to hit all the gutter lines, round all windows, doors, safeets, exclution strip ect. Putting strips around things like wood piles is helpful to😁 what are your tips for exterior and interior sprays

I looked at the Ortho Home Defense spray they sell at hardware stores, and it’s pretty much the same as the Talstar, only more expensive.

Home Defense is 0.05% bifenthrin . Talstar comes undiluted at 7.9%, so mixing one ounce in a gallon of water means you’re dividing that 7.9 by 128 ounces, giving you around 0.06% bifenthrin, so a bit stronger than home defense but still similar concentration.

Cost is where it gets crazy. Buying the Home Defense with sprayer attachment, you’ll pay $15-25 per gallon. Which is essentially equal to ONE ounce of Talstar. You can buy a gallon (128oz) of Talstar for like $60.

So essentially if you buy Ortho Home Defense, $60 will buy you 3 gallons worth, versus buying the undiluted Talstar where $60 will buy you enough to make 128 gallons. So Home Defense is 45 times more expensive. The guy who came up with the idea of prediluting and selling this stuff is a genius.

Home Defense does have cypermethrin also in very low concentration, which you arguably don’t need, but either way, if you want it, you can buy that undiluted as well (demonmax) for around $35 and the bottle will last you years. Essentially, making your own “home defense” mixture would cost maybe $1 per application, probably less.

Edit: keep in mind the shelf life on Talstar is 5 or so years, so don’t buy way too much. For average size single home, the 16oz should be the right one to buy. Not quite as good of a deal as the gallon, but you won’t waste any. 3 months is 4 applications per year, so you’ll get 4 years out of one bottle.

I use both Transport, Demon Max or Demand CS. It all depends on what I can find & at that time. Demon Max is in available is in smaller quantities. I typically stay with Demon since it's rated inside/outside applications & the same with Demand CS.

One other areas we should spray are any firewood stacks. So like 3 times a year I spray my firewood before nov-dec . many bug likes to hang out on firewood.

Either way this is a great video.

Back pack sprayer works better for outdoor applications. Even up to 4 gallons at once if needed.
Talstar P is the best mosquitoe, ants, spiders, wasp, bag worm control, not to mention it covers 70 other known insect.
Remember things like flies and certain bugs will build a immunity eventually, so switch up.
I do agree once a month on talstar outside due to rain, even irrigation washing it away.
Honestly talstar p is labeled for indoor use, even though it lists roaches, it sucks unless directly sprayed on. Doing better on the younger than mature. It is also great for house flies, kills them all for days apoun weeks.
Spray ventilated or else YOU WILL GET SICK, I ASSURE YOU!
I NOTICED in prior video you had fogger machines. I'd recommend a Stihl Fogger for indoor and out. You wear it as a backpack and can spray up in cracks and get in cracks well. Highly recommended. It's also good for shrubs and trees to get under and above foliar.
The for all the videos.
