Autism Family Gift Guide

Really though this could apply to any family. We thought this would be some great gift ideas for us and we wanted to share them with you. Side note: buy them the video game too. Life is short.

I have to agree with you on giving the smaller things. My boys absolutely getting a sack of bits n bobs.
They have changed over the years but never stopped. Even now l give them a sum of money to spend as they will but still fill a sack with favourite things like biscuits, socks, Knick knacks, toiletries, stationery, stuff for their hobbies etc. They get so much joy going through to see what they have got!! It also helps them out over a busy period.

Little Isaiah and Abbie! 🥺 So cute! Growing up my most memorable favorite gift that I still have, in working condition was my Super Nintendo gaming system and Mario game. This was circa 1995 and I can still remember the excitement I had. This game system started my love for Nintendo games and Mario and was also the only real bonding moments I shared with my Dad. I still play the games ever once in a while. I’ll never get rid of it ✌🏻

I made my best friend and her husband a date night/movie night basket with tons of snacks, popcorn, candy, mugs for drinks and popcorn buckets. Adding a gift card for Amazon prime or something similar to buy a movie (or adding dvds), and their favorite drinks would also be a great addition. It’s so fun!! Just dropped it off at her door.

Rather than a massage... I'd like to be sent to a chiropractor and then to an audiologist to get my ears really clean (I love to have someone just clean my ears for me. Feels amazing)

my favorite christmas memories are all of when my parents were still alive, and my mother's christmas turkey dinner, which i miss almost more then them. me and my bro and my parents, all eating in the living room by the fire, with xmas music playing, on a special fold out table. they are all gone now. those are my favorite memories. i actually don't remember the gifts either.

The best Christmas gift I ever received was a gift certificate to go to a spa. It included a back massage, sauna, hand massage, lunch, mimosas, hot tub, body sugar scrub. It was so great. I wish I would have had a friend to go with tho. Maybe next time

Great blog. My grandson only cares about cars and his tablet. Love the ideal of coupons. Years ago when things were extremely tight, we did the coupon thing. My favorite was a day to go shopping alone or a meal cooked.
I wished I were closer to my daughter. She is a single mom of 2 little ones including an autism child.

Stockings were always (Still are for my sister and i) huge growing up. My dad was a firefighter so we were allowed to open the stockings while he got awake enough. I'm 5 years older so when I was old enough he added that I had to start a pot of coffee before we could even wake them up. 😆 memories!

There are usually 4 Saturdays in a month... one for mom, one for dad, one for mom and dad and one for the entire family.... 💜 y’all

Love the clips of young Isaiah n Abby. My daughter is 6 n she runs around laughing n yelling just like Abby did. I agree with Asa about the little things being the best gift. I always want to get my daughter at least one big thing n a few small things n it's usually the small, cheaper things that she loves n uses the most.
