Personally my favourite things to do include drawing, making origami, writing poems and listening to music. Some of my favourite gifts to give would involve making an origami of the persons favourite animal or thing, or drawing them something they really like. Sometimes I find them a poem or a song that I think they could like, or I recommend them a book. Sometimes I write only a card. It's usually enough and works for me as I prefer not buying things.

I don't like useless gifts: It's easier to be a minimalist, tying to things can take a lot of energy. They are difficult to give away without the giver noticing it, not to offend him accidentally - so often you end up storing it all. Special interest stuff I can buy myself at a flea market or a second-hand store. Just ask me what I need at the moment :-) although most of the time I do not know what I want and just offer to give me what I really need at the moment. Giver may find it hard to believe that I really be glad of such a gift, but I will be.

My sister is kind of a pro at buying me useful things. One birthday, my parents were kind of miffed that I'd asked for an HDMI cable for my Xbox 360, but my sister bought me one. And other birthdays she's given me hair stuff and hand cream, and my latest birthday she gave me big claw clips for my hair (which I'm still getting the hang of using) and a little cross-body bag. She's pretty great with Christmas presents, too.

Would you be willing to share a Amazon wishlist or something like that? Or a way to donate some money? I think there are multiple people who would like to support you and give back for the content you share.
Being able to do that in a useful way would be quite cool.

good list! I'm curious if any other autistics get a bit seasick/dizzy from noise cancellation, or if that's just me? Headphones are still a brill gift, though.

also, the hail sounds really lovely actually. happy accident 😄
