Trick ✅ Windows 11 24H2: Bypass queue and force install immediately

⚡Key Points
✅ To force the Windows 11 24H2 upgrade in the Pro edition, enable the “Select the target Feature Update version” policy and configure it to “Windows 11” and “24H2” using the Group Policy Editor.
✅ On Windows 11 Home, you must modify the “ProductVersion,” “TargetReleaseVersionInfo,” and “TargetReleaseVersion” entries in the “WindowsUpdate” key in the Registry to skip the line and upgrade immediately.
🚨 If the "WindowsUpdate" key isn't available in the Registry, you will have to create it too.

🛑 This may or may not work for everyone, but I tested version 23H2, and it worked flawlessly.

I did this one one of my supported hardware devices, process worked perfect just as video showed. I did this because I had put 24h2 on an older unsupported devices weeks ago, and have had no problems with 24h2 at all. My main one still has 23h2, but I'll just wait for the update to show up on that one (just in case!). Thank you for the easy to follow instructions, ...as usual, a well done video.

Much thanks, worked like a charm with the GP edit. Tried to do this using PS Get Windows update with a search for 24H2 and it was always coming back with no results but the update was in the online Catalog.

Thanks for this video, informative and easy to follow.
I followed the registry method and it works.
In my case, the only issue I experienced was that it is a bit slow (waiting some hours), even if I have a good internet connection. Maybe a quicker method would be downloading the win11 24h ISO file, mount it and run the setup.

Works perfectly, but you must don't delete the "windowsupdate" folder in the registry or will keep the windows update button grey!

Didn't work for me. I tried both methods, restarting after each attempt but windows won't give me 24H2 on my home PC. I got it on my laptop at work without doing anything special but, my home PC is stuck on 23H2 for some reason still.

Edit: "Get the latest updates as soon as their available" is greyed out but, I didn't "skip the line" as you put it.

Biggest issue here is the lack of support for old MBR boot bios that does not recognize uefi or csm.
