After more than 1000 hours on campaing, the last 7 days i have been rediscovering the game and understanding it more and more. This ladder is amazing and it has really nice people to play and meet.

So awesome that enticy did this. I did a bit of tournament play but always felt like I was getting clobbered by the big names, and qb didn't feel like good training at all. This brings me back to the old StarCraft 2 days. Can't wait to start laddering! Thanks a ton Ent and thanks for promoting it Turin

It's alright at matching by skill level, but its biggest problem is the glut of highly skilled players that are on it. If you're a newer player aiming to give it a shot, unless you finely hone your ELO/LP limit, you could easily end up going against the type of people you see in Turin's replays regularly.

That being said, the solution to a glut of highly skilled players is to dilute them with ones who are in need of more improvement, and to create a gradient of skill, rather than hard shift between newer/experienced that is currently present there. So feel free to join!

its awesome... still hates the Bo3 format tho... it punish you severely for not learning well atleast 4 factions. I know is not problem for people that can spent limitless hours to the game, but it severely reduces the amount of people that wants to try to ladder. Single factions, not only works for the majority, but also creates a link between players and their main factions. Also, besides skaven, the community is doing a great job at balancing them.

Enticity during lunchtime: creates optimal ladder system with better rankings and matchmaking, integrated with Discord
CA should realize how much massive, free potential they have in their community to take the MP of their games to stunning new heights. They could get a completely free balance team and just copy this ladder system.

Are there any matchup mechanisms that specialize in faction war format? I ask because with the pick and ban system it seems like you need to be good with a lot of different factions but what if you’re only practiced with 2-3? With pick and ban your opponent can end up banning the only ones you know! Haha
