In this IoT tutorial, I have shown how to make the IoT Project using ESP32 NodeMCU ESP8266 network with Blynk App. With this IoT based home automation project, you can control multiple NodeMCU and ESP32 from a single Blynk cloud account. So you can use multiple ESP8266 for different rooms, and control them with Blynk IoT App.

Download PCB Gerber file for NodeMCU control relays

Download PCB Gerber file for ESP32 control relays

During the tutorial video, I have covered the following topics:
00:58 Control multiple NodeMCU ESP32 with Blynk app.
03:05 Required Components for the Blynk IoT project.
03:26 Circuit of the ESP32 & ESP8266 IoT-based Smart Home project.
05:07 How to set up the Blynk cloud platform.
08:25 Source code for this IoT-based home automation system.
12:01 Program the ESP32 NodeMCU with Arduino IDE.
12:45 Set up Blynk IoT app for the IoT project.
14:02 Controlling multiple NodeMCU ESP32 control relays from Blynk.

Required Components for each room for this home automation
1. NodeMCU ESP8266 or ESP32
2. 4-channel 5V SPDT Relay Module
3. Push Buttons or Switches

***Important Links:
Download Code for the ESP32 & NodeMCU home automation project from the following article.

Important points:
1. In code, you have to change the virtual pins according to the microcontroller numbers.
2. You can use different WiFi networks for each microcontroller, but the Authentication Token should be the same for all the microcontrollers.
3. Here Blynk cloud will treat all the microcontrollers as a single device as we have used the same AUTH token.
4. If the Wi-Fi is available, the ESP32 or ESP8266 will automatically connect with Blynk cloud and the status LED (blue) will turn ON.
5. If you use latched switch, then during reset the switch-2 (D3) must be turned OFF.
**Please take proper safety precautions while working with high voltages.

During this Blynk IoT tutorial video, I have explained all the steps to configure the new Blynk 2.0 platform for any IoT-based smart home automation system. If the NodeMCU or ESP32 is connected with the WiFi then you can control the relays from anywhere in the world from mobile, and monitor the real-time feedback in the Blynk IoT applications. So with this internet of things project, you can convert any home appliances to IoT devices and control them through the internet.

Hi there, I am a big fan of you and watch your every video for almost 4 years. I appreciate your hard work and effort behind your all projects. I have seen more than one year, you do a lot of jobs behind home automation projects based on Blynk and another platform. It is very much appreciable. If you add a digital fan regulator with those home automation projects controlled by the Blynk app then it will be a great achievement for home automation. we see some beautiful good-looking sonoff or another wifi-based Chinese Fan regulator with touch switch panels which can be controlled by both App and touch panel switch (or physical buttons when the internet is not available) to control fan speed. still, now no YouTuber/project maker makes such this type (physical Touch Panel+Zero Crossing Ckt+Blynk app) of project. As a fan, I hope you will make this for adding your existing home automating project and will give that project (full home automation)as a gift to your viewers if you have time.

Hi friend! Can you make video and introduce this idea: in room N1 we have temperature sensor (DHT) connected to esp32, which is sending data to blynk server. other controller which is connected to the same blynk server and controlling relay using temperature measurements from room N1

Very nice video. Can you suggest me what is the cheapest microcontroller that I can use for my IoT project? I need to connect with it through a SIM module. What is the best SIM module that will work perfectly with Indian SIM card?

Thanks in advance.

Hi and thanks for the video. I was wondering if it would be possible to use the sort of technilogy you are using to push a button on my mobile phone to activate horn or a buzzer on my car providing the car has no internet service to it. Say the car is parked in a large paking lot and l need to find it. Cheers
