I have hashimotos. I changed my diet, cut all sugar, cut processed foods, basically I do keto and very low carb now, got rid of stress factors wherever I could (that included changing my job)! I take levothyroxine for hypothyroidism and also take vitamins and supplements. I still have some flareups, especially around that time of the month and thats something different to work on altogether.

I had a gord that they took out since then probably 25 yes ago and on levothyroxine since then, I got the symptoms of hashimotes, I kept losing like 2 pounds a week till I was down to 106 lbs my doctor took me off synthroid, I've started gaining weight and all my symptoms of hashimotos is gone, took my blood test and all my tests are good and I'm gaining weight and holding at 121 ! Our God saved me !!!

I sure could’ve used this information 8 years ago before the RA started and I went thru chemo then a thyroidectomy. It’s taken me 6 years to recover and find all this information. I will pass this along to others

I'm so upset but glad I found this video...I've had weight issues my entire life. Got weight loss surgery. I was on a levothyroxine the weight was not...is not coming off despite not having an appetite and changing my diet. I'm anemic and have a vitamin D and iron deficiency. I'm assuming a iodine deficiency too...im so frustrated. My daughter was born with very low T cells and had to go to the children's hospital almost immediately after birth...and nobody knew why or where it came from...duh!! I swear these doctors just sit in an office for a paycheck...so now I'm on a journey to my only to correct my health but my entire family. It breaks my heart because not only have I had to fight to lose the weight I have but now because of the weight loss surgery I had 5 years ago It's very hard for me to absorb any vitamins and nutrients...

Exercise but not too much? So I am supposed to lift pink weights in the gym with the elderly? Modulate stess?, yeah I am just gonna ask the whole world to cope with me, fff that man, Sriusly. Either scientists and doctors find a way to get rid of these TPO antibodies or people like me are living in hell for the rest of their lives.
