I fully agree this is a cool concept, you listen on TWS when out and about where sound fidelity is not as important as just having something keep you company, and then when you are sitting down in a quieter space, boom you run your cable and enjoy. Thanks Lachlan, keep finding this stuff, very interesting.

Lol. This isn't BGVP's first rodeo with tws/mmcx combo. The Q2s was released back in 2020

Try the AKG N5005. They come with a bluetooth dongle/cable. Not true wireless and no ANC, but the sound quality is unbelievable.

That is a really important feature for me as a musician and all around audio lover and electrical engineer. I have some cheap bluetooth headphones that have this feature and granted they are cheap, they perform well and if their battery goes dead, I can connect them straight into a device.
*Unfortunately, we're also seeing the eradication of 1/8" jacks on phones and tablets!*

I still think a lot of brands will soon come to the conclusion that it's in their best interest to provide dual service audio devices.

Love this idea I just can't stand mmcx as a connector standard as it's never been reliable in my use compared to 2 pin 🤷

Please review the Devialet Gemini II Wireless Earbuds which is presumably the best TWS.
Also would be nice if you can review Noble Audio FoKus Prestige and Hifiman Svanar.

Your problem with connectivity is with Samsung when you disable audio and calls for some reason rejects connection with Bluetooth it happened to me many many times with different devices😊

MMCX connectors are one of the main reasons I wouldn't buy an IEM, unfortunately. They wear out so quickly. Now.... if they had used Pentaconn connections, that might have been interesting.

Bluetooth is terrible technology and always has been. I can’t believe connection issues and low quality codecs are normal today even with top tier wireless sets. Only Apple gets this right
