returned my Mirai's, I miss them sometimes, but ultimately, there's better out there that i ended up going with.
couldn't get them to fit comfortably for more than an hour of use which really dampened my experience with them.
great little iem though. sounds amazing

This price point, man. For me, a price like this ofc demands top notch sound, but it also demands top notch aesthetics and comfort. This amount of money is honestly absurd for most people, and tho I'm cool with investing in an amazing product for the long term, it just seems like the Mirai is a 4-4.5 star product. And I'd have a hard time settling for anything less than 5 stars all around for that much money.

the wobbly bit on the bass in B&K 5128 measurements is a resonance thing. it wont show up on actual listening.

Bring on the longer videos, sometimes it's worth saying something in many words. For me, at my level I feel like when you reach the $1000 level, you got to move to headphones and when you climb up to $3000, then you move to speakers. There's just a point where I think what I'm buying has to be substantial as I pay more and more, this is not a negative against anyone buying what they like, it's just my pov. Thanks for the review Josh.

I completely agree, it was a very pleasing listen with its own unique flavor but it doesn't really have a wow factor that compels you to pay $1k+ for it imo. It's something I'd very well consider getting if budget wasn't an issue as a personal endgame (I personally prefer having something more balanced focused with great detail) but for $1k+ I'm sticking with my arya stealths
