The ending is basically breaking the chains of the joestars battles. Because Jolene is Irene now and she's not a Joe star so basically now they have no more enemies because of the universe reset.

It’s just because everyone was soooo depressed after that. I liked it but now we don’t have a continuation, after everyone died. I loved the ending. It’ll probably be softer for people in the future who’ll have part 7 immediately after to watch.

I personally am not a fan of stone ocean purely for the fact that the prison setting is extremely bland feeling with little to make it stand out. In addition fights like Jail House Lock just weren't satisfying. I also wasn't a fan of how little the Jobros were connected to each other. It felt like there was two to three groups that made up the main cast and they hardly interacted with each other or felt connected. Everything else is great though.

My fan theory is that

Giorno never existed in the universe Pucci existed because in part 6 we saw Dio's children and Giorno wasn't there and you might say that Pucci didn't know about his existence but Jotaro definitely does and guess who stole both Jotato's memories and stand at the start of part 6? The counter argument can be that Pucci wasn't interested in seeing more information he could gain from Jotaro's memories hence never get to know Giorno's existence but my theory is also one of the possibilities that Pucci' erasure was the reason part 5 happened and Jotaro was the one who stopped diavolo in original part 5.

Stone ocean ending could have ended well if jotaro hadnt saved jolyne because if the Soviets could save stroheim by giving him robot limbs then americans could save jolyne, its not unheard of for it to happen some guy got shot in the head and survived with minimal damage then with Speedwagon foundation she could have 100 percent lived, also she was able to react to bullets so idk if she would have even been hit, prolly due to time but she could survive the right choice was to use his stand to stab through puchis heart killung him then push jolyne out of the way with whatever time they had, both would have survived and ff sold the win hard
