Netero knew Killua at this point and was probably like "lol yeah, that checks out. Yeah sign him on."

Keep in mind, there are years where people don't pass the hunter's test which means either everyone dies or the few people that manage to survive got disqualified for one reason or another. Being a hunter is a dangerous job, so it only makes sense that the test itself is intended to be extremely dangerous

Killua was lucky that the super overpowered characters in his universe only took the Hunter exam with him the first time…if you had even a single character like Hisoka that second time he’d be screwed.

I kinda wish we got an entire arc dedicated to Killua retaking the exams but he would be to op for it so it makes sense. Still would’ve liked it

From my memory, Neru said Killia passes. I don't know if after all the others woke up. They didn't continue the exam.

How ironic, considering he is from a family of assassins.

When you go to the starting zone as a max level

He’d be able to do it without Nen though. He just isn’t taking any chances when he goes the second time. He doesn’t want to be left behind when the second exam happens, so he uses what he’s learned to demolish everyone else there.

In the first hunter exam there were many string people. Hisoka, Illumi, ninja guy, all of them knew men or ninjutsu. 2 people stringer than killia and 1 probably equal to him in the end greed Island arc. But somehow there was no one strong in that exam. No poison guy, puppet guy or anything, no one that is even string enough to fight with killia. They were probably the worst hunter exam candidates in the history too

how come last years exam had so many strong people but this one was just a bunch of easy claps

Like letting a level 99 go up against a bunch of level 1's they had no chance lol!

The downside is that Zepile had no chance, but looks like an awakened person with interesting potential.

Probably how all the back ground hunters with subpar abilities got thru, they just had a relly weak line up of applicants

That was the examiner's fault for being lazy and not setting up a fair rule.

And he only did that so he could return to the game with Gon as quickly as possible. Otherwise, the exam would’ve taken several days. Killua was already more than powerful enough the first time he participated. 😄

Iirc they redid the exam for that year after Killua left. That’s how Ponzu became a hunter in time for the Chimera Ant arc
