Thank you so much for all the work you put in your videos. I've just discovered your channel and watched a few videos, and I can already say that I'm going to learn a lot of things thanks to you 😀

This is such an amazing thing that is going on! This is the kind of series that i want to exist here completely for free.

Complete free series teachning (and not just showing), how to make a complete real world and quite complete something, in this case a game engine, which i happen to be really interested at.

And i know you will be able to manage this really great.

Thank you Cherno, for making this a reality. You are really knowledgeable and overall a really cool person!

Gonna do a deep dive on game engine development, thank you very much for this series in advance!

I haven't really seen an educational project like this that encompasses the full breath of game engine development anywhere else on youtube, so it's definitely a big help.

I was skeptical at first but ever since I took your game programming tutorials I have been very passionate about computer science. I have been following the 2d game tutorials and honestly it is the most open source helpful guidelines I've found. I will look forward to this series and nothing else wish you the best and most of all thank you for teaching! I never take anything for granite. thank you soo much!

I'm excited. I've been trying to branch besides the C++ Console Apps. Also, you've saved my life so many times in Computer Science I and a little in Computer Science II. (I just started). I wanted to say Thank you!

Thank you Cherno for doing this! I'm a web developer but I always wanted to get into game development and thanks to this channel i am really motivated to do so! There are some great tutorials out there aswell but yours are more HUMAN. That's because many of them are totally missing the answer to "Why?". "Do it like this", okay byt why should i do it that way, and what about different approach? Yeah, very often things are trivial but even then it provides an insight into person's mind which helps in developing your own thoughts. Ha... i just remembered how i was tought pointers* in school. I learned literally nothing because our teacher never explained why i should even use pointers. "Pointers hold the memory address of a value"... okay so what? Then we had to use pointers in places where they weren't even needed. OKAY LET'S GO!!!!

Im not sure if it will be covered in this series, but if anyone is going to attempt to use multithreading, i would highly recommend the book, "C++: Concurrency in Action." I have developed my own thread pool and task system as a result, and while multithreading was scary at first, i actually embrace it now
