One of these in black is the ultimate luxury car. All of a sudden everyone around you remembers how to drive..

Having mine for the past year and a half, smiles per hour is the STs specialty. It has good looks, good interior space, and great comfort. I’d buy another one again.

I have a ST and I'm happy that I got the extended warranty. The Ford/GM 10 speed transmission have a lot of issues. I had my transmission replaced already and I have read that a lot of people have also. 10R60 and 10R80 needs to be bulletproof for reliability and flashed to remove the skip gear pattern. Do your research before buying, especially a used one. A lot of people sell or trade them in after they have replaced the transmission 2-3 times.

So many haters. Sorry this isnt a corny Hyundai or Kia lol. This Ford Explorer looks bad azz!! 420 miles to the full tank is amazing. And Ford drives super good on the highway so I know it'll max out he fuel range. Super sporty. Masculine. Performance. Tech. Space. Towing. Blue Cruise. Super fast. Go American Auto Brands🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲

I’ve never understood the complaint about a prop rod to hold up the hood. A prop rod never fails unlike struts which, after time, do fail. And let’s be honest here, most buyers will never open the hood to begin with. Only the mechanics that the owners take their car too will appreciate the struts.

That horizontal info screen looks so much better than the vertical. But really I prefer everything else about the 2024.

Re: near the end when the music comes in, it's like you're getting "played off" at an award show when your time be up.

I agree on the wheels. The old style black one's are more aggressive looking and compliment the performance look much more. Ford did a nice job with the front styling improvements to the dash.

Father in law has a 2021 Explorer ST. His is a base model and he paid 50 grand. Engine sounds awesome under acceleration! It’s unassumingly quick too especially if you’re not familiar with the ST trim. He has 40kish miles on it now and he hasn’t had any mechanical issues. CarPlay craps out and won’t work half the time, squeaks and rattles, that sort of thing.

Would definitely look better with painted arches, especially on a street model.

So much tech in new cars, makes my OCD go into overload when it comes to the settings. If I were to buy a new Explorer ST I'd sit at the dealership for 3 hours just to get my settings right in the infotainment screen. 😂

The unpainted fender flair is quintessential ford-cheap-o. Ford knows how to style their cars, trucks and SUV's, but for some reason would prefer to offer a ridiculously priced and seldom selected 6k dollar painted roof, rather than a painted fender option. -probably has something to do with the Aviator/Lincoln relationship.

Sorry about this comment but this always bothers me in your videos.
That second row slides forward “mechanically” not “hydraulically”. Hydraulically would mean it uses hydraulic fluid to move the seats. My guess is those seats use springs to move it forward. As opposed to electric motors which would then mean the seats move forward “electrically”.
Again, sorry about the nit picking. Love your videos.

Still don't think I'd buy one, but I think they did a pretty good job cleaning up that nasty, Fisher Price interior! Big improvment!

The Platinum trim has a smoother ride than the ST and has the V6 too as an option. You should have driven the Platinum too.
