Oh I love the 400hp V6 engine. Absolutely beastly

I have an explorer as a company car with the 2.3 and it has some power. I was not expecting that. I can only imagine the 400 hp v6. I’m not a ford guy at all, but I’m impressed i will say that.

The Explorer will never be as luxurious as the 96’ Eddie Bauer

1:01 it's not the same 2.3L engine, its the newer one from the ecoboost mustang

Hopefully, they're putting the money they've saved by deleting physical controls and interior color options, into better quality.

Do the eco-boost engines still leak oil before 80k miles??

I like the 2018 Fusion 1.5 ecoboost that burns gas and coolant...

The people have spoken and Ford never got the message. Physical HVAC controls could have easily fit into the budget of 40k plus per vehicle. I do like the sensor pod that looks like a column mounted shift indicator from 1974.

The taillights look really cool, but the front just looks... Bloated? Pouty? I dont know how to describe it. It just feels like some tired middle aged manager coming back from a long day and melting on the couch.

I saw on the road a white Explorer Platinum max is that the best one they offer?😊

I wonder if the v6 is just the turbo version of the v6 that requires a $5000 timing chain job just to replace a water pump.

well, 5 years in, and the grill of the Explorer looks fancy, but the grill on the refreshed explorer, looks similar to the refreshed escape, i mean, what's the point of having a 3 row crossover when you take it off road, if you can't get the Timberline model no more, that's just the whole duvet downer.

I'm surprised they don't have the off-road-ish Timberline model any more.

I have a 20 ST, why lower the towing capacity from 5600 in the 20 to 5000 in the 25🙄

It would look even lower if they would body match that black cladding and sills

They can still do better. Get some color options in there. And the front end looks like it's missing a piece. Over all. Not something I'd rush to go look at. Specially when Hyundai and Kia are killing it in this segment in design. Inside and out.
