Hanyu scary crash Yan Han

Yuzuru Hanyu, the Japanese gold medalist of figure skating at 2014 Olympic game in Sochi had scary crash with Chinese champion Yan Han at the warmup session of International Skating Union's Grand Prix of Figure Skating in Shanghai, November 8, 2014.

Most of yall don't understand how SERIOUS OF A INJURY this was!

Other then his chin, at 0:21, you can see the blood slide down his forehead. He was bleeding from the fricking HEAD!!

After the competition, he had to operate STITCHES ON HIS HEAD AND CHIN. He also flew to Japan for further treatment. He had serious bruising on his chin and head, hurt his midriff and left thigh, and sprained his right ankle.

Also, when he was lying on the ice, it looked like he had difficulty breathing, his asthma was probably acting up. I'm just glad it wasn't a full blown out asthma attack or things would have gotten a lot more dangerous.😢

This man was able to control his breathing and get up without help after taking serious injuries to both the chin and head, with out shedding a SINGLE tear. True fighter.

Yuzuru said that he got knocked really hard in the abdomen and got the breath knocked out of him and you can see him gasping for breath
Also he almost fainted when he exited the rink
I feel so bad for him he got it really bad

You all realize the medics got to him within a minute which includes the time in which everyone had to leave the ring and for them to get to him in the ring with shoes, so it was actually pretty quick.

When you watch it with the speed reduced you can see just how hard he hits the floor. His head bounced off of the ice 😣😣 I'm just so glad he didn't bite through his tongue (common in these types of falls).

For people who were asking why the other skaters didn't helped him right away, it is because there were protocols during situations like this and they weren't allowed to interfere with the medics. On the other hand, the medics took so long to reach there :/ And don't freaking blame hanyan in this, why would he risk himself to crash into yuzu?
