Yuzuru Hanyu is a Japanese figure skater.
He’s widely regarded as the greatest skater in history for his well-rounded skills, achievements, popularity, and impact on the sport.
Hanyu is the first men's singles skater to achieve a Super Slam, having won all major competitions in both his senior and junior careers. He has broken world records 19 times. In 2018, he became the first man to win two consecutive Olympic gold medals since 1952.

In August of last year, Yuzuru Hanyu announced that he had married a non-celebrity. 3 months later he announced that he has divorced his wife due to the unbearable amount of harrasment/stalking that he and his wife received after they announced their marriage. His wife was unable to leave the house due to slander, stalking by some media, and unauthorized interviews. He couldn't protect her so he decided to divorce. He wanted his partner to be happy.
