This is so reminiscent of older British animations (see: Postman Pat, Fireman Sam) yet completely subverts the expectation of twee and fun with such dark, unsettling content. Bravo, Mr. Friend! Thank you for telling such a sad, haunting narrative through such a gorgeous art style.

Ohhh my goodness, the way this is made to be like a children show, makes it all the more unsettling, not just the models, but also the movement and narration. That was suspenseful, terrifying and, TBH and a bit sad; a great story and way of telling it definitely deserving of more views!

As a space lover and someone who adored Pinocchio, I LOVE the setting of the atmosphere. I immediately recognised it was Neptune, viewed on the surface of what is likely Triton. The buildup of the story is amazing! I was also afraid and skeptical why they sent him out alone without a crew, or even a robot companion at least. I got my answers. Love the touch of reflection on the eye at that last part. I just had the saddest chills. I just discovered this channel and I'm hooked. 🥰

This type of style in these horror films are always so interesting. They give me the feeling that it’s not scary but the voice and the fact it’s a horror film snaps me back to remembering that I shouldn’t get to comfortable with this. I hope there are more or this style in the future.

What a beautifully told story, did not see the ending coming. Happy to see you come back to this format. Loved the slightly Event Horizon/Dead Space feel to it, but in that vintage British animated film style. Excellent work as always and a great surprise when opening youtube!

All that tragedy happened because Mr. Hutches wanted to play with him and caused two separate realities of canon events.

Just looked back to check and was delighted to see the quick hint in the first flashback scene of why whatever happened was only to him, and not the rest of his family - The seatbelt!

The film was good, and I really liked the plot twist, At the beginning, we've lead to believe John lost his wife and daughter in a car accident, and he went for a space travel as a coping mechanism, and some unknown manifests as his trauma, but in reality, John was in a coma following an accident, and that his wife and daughter are still alive. The space station represented the hospital, number of successfully logged days represented time John was in a coma. Really awesome work.
