The weeping angels were legitimately terrifying. My favorite episode

I always thought the angels were 100% statues that had removable heads and hands and arms could be moved until the Matt Smitu era where they move. But I guess I was wrong. Nice to learn new things.

Usually knowing behind -the-scenes details of scary scenes makes them mundane and harmless. But nope, those angels still creep me the heck out.

That would actually make for a really good horror scene. A room filled with statues but only a few are alive, and out to get you.

One of THE most terrifying Doctor Who creatures ever created. The fear their presence creates is primal.

"oh! It was a prop, heh, funny" *turns around and walks away before hearing concrete scrapes*

I've always wanted to decorate my entire yard with weeping angels for Halloween with slow blinking spot lights that alternate giving the impression that the angels are moving lol 😆

I never liked that the Angels at the crash of the Byzantium moved when Amy was the only one there. The fact that they never moved on screen in Blink was genius, because it included the audience in their inability to move while being observed.

That's probably the best unintentional compliment for a fx artist's work ever! "It was so good, I mistakenly talked to a real statue thinking it was a performer."

I liked that there was audience participation in the early episodes as well. When the Angels were on screen, they were always frozen, despite the characters not looking because WE SAW THEM. We, as viewers, saw the Angel, therefore, it couldn't move. Making them able to move later didn't do it for me.

One of the most menacing parts of the angels is, even when the audience watched them they never moved.

Little did he know, all of the Angel performers were already having lunch, and were wondering where he had run off to

The Angels for me were the most scary Dr Who monster. Especially when the statue of liberty was one. 😅😢

The angels are, hands down, the most terrifying of all Dr. Who's enemies. I kept my hall lights on at night for days after seeing Blink for the first time.

I never knew there were people in there! Since they are never seen moving, I thought they just used statues.

Man, that statue must’ve felt so happy to be invited for lunch.

😂😂 I would be terrified to even be on the set even if i know the weeping angels are normal people. It's the one doctor who villian that I don't laugh at.
