This is an absolutely horrific crime, and sadly the second murder this month in our City of Allen. On April 05, two brothers killed their parents, grandmother, and sister, then killed themselves. Oddly enough the assailants in both families were all close to the same age, as well as both young ladies (sisters that were killed) in each of the families were also close in age; they either we're still in highschool or had recently graduated. I'm sending love and my condolences to all family and friends of the victims, and I'm truly so unbelievably sorry for the loss of your loved ones. 💜

What really makes me stop and think not even shocked anymore by stories like these. Given all the tragedy of the last several weeks and the COVID. At this point for me it is a defense/coping mechanism.

This is so weird to me, I was a senior at Allen 2 years ago and I Met Burak because we were in the same film appreciation club and after seeing his name on the news I was in extreme shock... this kid was so nice and just seemed so normal? Idk what the hell happened! But my thoughts and prayers go out to their family and friends.

Strangers don't usually need to hate someone, but family members are a different story. No one ever knows what goes on behind closed doors with a family. The act of stabbing another person is rageful. This young man had rage towards his mother and sister and the fact that he was trying to get to his biological father after the fact is interesting.
