Those parents and family members WERE planning summer vacation, now they’re planning funerals!!! This is just sickening!!! Why is America the only country that has mass school shootings?? Something is very wrong here, our kids should be safe at school!!! My heart and prayers go out to these families, my heart truly breaks for them!!! 😢 💔🙏❤️

We protect money with armed guards, we protect politicians with armed guards, we protect the wealthy with armed guards, we have medal detectors and security in hospitals, large concerts, and sports events yet our kids have little to no protection at all and liberals hate us for wanting to protect them and stop us every chance we get. The president, while being guarded by armed guards, is saying we need to take guns away even more... How many more shootings will we go through before we do something about it? We're just waiting for one that is so bad that we have to try something different I guess... So sad.

Of course this can be prevented. Protect our kids the same way we protect politicians and judges. Armed guards and metal detectors at all school entrances.
Stop blaming lawful gun owning Americans. Blame Politicians who give Billions to other countrys instead of protecting our kids.

As a parent, I could give two shits about politics when it comes to the safety of my children. Don't get me wrong....I am a patriot, through and through and value what freedoms myself and my family have in this country as well as have huge respect for those who have fought to keep those freedoms. However, an outdated set of rules and guidelines continues to be thrown up like a shield whenever gun control is brought up. George Washington never had to address the nation after someone shot up a school yard. Nor did Jefferson or Lincoln. This is 2022 for heavens sake! A Paper signed by our forefathers isn't protecting our children, our future, from bullets....why make it the cornerstone of determining their safety in the very place they learn and grow, a place we need to feel safe taking them?

We need to stop making our schools into prisons, outfitting our kids with bullet proof backpacks, having discussions of armed teachers or police at the doors and address the real issues before we find ourselves not having a generation to succeed us. This morning I hugged my 7th grader a bit harder with horror and fear of the coming school day, not knowing if her school would be next but I smiled and wished her a good day with a final kiss and an I love you....20+ parents didn't get to and will never again.

Present that to the Senate, I hope they choke on it.

As journalists, ask how the shooter was able to gain entry into the school and why the doors were not locked

Bad parents raise bad kids. It's called Personality Disorders. This should be the main subject because it explains every young shooter, but not many people are informed on this subject. We all should be. Are you?
We are not told much about the recent Buffalo shooter's childhood. Why is that? I did find that He said, "I would like to say I had quite a normal childhood, but that is not the case." His own words. Also he said he killed and mutilated a cat. He stayed in a hospital because he wanted to do murder-suicide.
It's the same for every shooter. It's not hard to figure out. For some reason, they don't want you to know this.

Why dont all schools have security or some type of force so these people cant break entry. Ive seen some schools with locked gates from the ceiling to the floor to where you cant enter the school. But there needs to be more done. There should be armed security guards all around the schools for EVERY school. Its become something thats happens too often that shouldn't be happening at all!

This could have been prevented with security locks on the entry door to the buildings of the school.

We put our trust in government and schools and expect if our child is in there care while in school they should protect them like politicians and judges.
Metal detectors and armed guards works in government buildings. Disarming LAWFUL CITIZENS who just want to defend there families is not the answer.

The armed school district police officer, who worked at the school, saw Ramos emerge from his vehicle carrying the rifle used to murder the children. The officer claims he "engaged" the suspect but was unable to stop him. The officer is not wounded or dead as he would be if he actually engaged the shooter and failed instead of hiding behind a wall shooting his gun without aiming or even looking.
The shooter strolled right into the school and preceded to murder the children while this armed officer stood outside listening to every shots waiting for... WHAT HE ALREADY IS TO SHOW UP.

Unbelievably the next 2 armed officers that showed up engaged the shooter in the same manner as the first (from a position where you can't see the shooter) and the shooter kept blasting away at the children one by one only now with 3 armed officers outside listening. Not until a 3erd set of officers showed up did the shooter actually get engaged and killed.

No more RIP’s, condolences, prayers etc. it’s time to take action to stop this from happening!
