I think this could be one of the most expensive rice cookers in the world, we had a lot of people from out main channel @ZiangsFoodWorkshop ask us to review this, with many people raving about it, so we though is the Zojirushi NS-TSQ10 with fuzzy logic really as good as they say? We paid for this rice cooker ourselves, we weren't given anything or paid to make this video, cost £250 or $320, yes you read that right! This is just an unboxing and first impressions review of this rice cooker, a future long term review will be made on this too, so keep an eye out for that! If there are any other items, foods etc you want us to check out, comment them below and we will! Also as a bonus we do quickly show you how to use a rice cooker.

It will be worth it! I got a yum asia bamboo rice cooker it’s 10/10😊

They’re brilliant guys, I got on that also uses induction cooking so the whole rice bowl heats evenly and also has a pressure cooking cycle, the best ones are made in Japan while more basic models are made in china.
Does have one problem in that there’s an internal battery and once it runs out the cooker has to go back to zojirushi to get replaced .

From other reviews I've seen ppl complain of the slower cook time it's supposed yield better texture. You might have added too much water for the process it uses. They're highly rated but I'd agree its a bit complicated. I still use stove top but if you get distracted you can over cook. I can cook rice in 30 minutes. I wouldn't want wait an hour I guess that's why the have a timer.

i use a basic rice cooker and after getting the water level right ... its a good piece of kit .
for me its a bit to much confusion with all them buttons ... compared to the basic switch it on with the more
normal cookers.

We got this rice cooker off amazon for £250.00 2 or 3 years ago, nothing beats this rice cooker. It almost makes you as bit snonbish when going to resturants and their rice is inferior :D

I would love you guys to go the other end of the spectrum and review the Sistema rice cooker. I have one and think it's great, mainly because of the ease of use and cleaning lol. But I know nothing about good rice, so seeing your views would be awesome!

You are paying for quality materials that produces quality rice, multifunctional and last longer. Personally, I love these fancy rice cookers. If I ever visit HK, I probably buy a £100 for myself. My parents are obsessed with these

Thanks Chin, ive been meaning to buy a rice cooker for ages, ill order your cheap one, as it seems to do the job, only thing missing is a timer, that would be cool, for going out and coming back to some cooked rice.

You should give the Sistema microwave thing a try. It's basically a bowl but tall and straight with a couple of lids for holding some steam in without building pressure. 15 mins max (that's cold winter water) and you've got rice. Paid about £8 I used to have an electric one but now only use the Sistema. No browning either because no direct heat source..

The yumasia panda sakura one is great. Similar idea to the zojirushi one but £135 in the shops. I weigh the rice and the water and put the same amount of each in for if I'm using it same day. If I'm using it next day, I use 1.25 times the amount of water. It's been absolutely brilliant. I tried the knuckle thing and could never get it to work for me.

Hi, how heavy is the bowl? I am planning to buy one and hoping the bowel is durable. I owned rice cooker from cuckoo and the bowel was heavy and very durable- used for years and never had a scratch on it. Unfortunately had to leave it when i moved to uk.
Thanks

Maybe follow the directions for the rice and water measurements as directed before you decide it doesn't work correctly?

My rice is still hit and miss. Sometimes it’s one cup rice to one cup water and comes out great. Other times it’s a bit hard and under done, other times soggy

You gotta go to Korea if you want the most expensive and the best!😂

The fuzzy logic processor brings the water up to boil then lets it sort of sit for a spell at lower temp to bring out more flavour in the rice. Mine takes 45 minutes with the basic white rice setting but there's another option for white rice that cooks it at different temperatures which gives it a nice flavour. Takes longer though.

I have had the exact same experience, and I own this rice cooker. The best thing about it is that it keeps rice good for four days.

Japanese rice cookers will take into consideration the recommended 30 minute soaking time before the actual cook time. The finger measurement method is hit and miss depending on the machine and like your example it is a miss.

Speaking from experience. If you're looking to get an expensive rice cooker. Get the Ninja one, it's an air fryer, pressure cooker, rice cooker, steamer and you can cook a 3kg chicken in it. I use it everyday for rice.
