Very, very clear and concise instructions. As a novice, I learned more about cutting wood with miter saw than many other videos. Thanks

Soooo glad I found you right now. I am a 66 year old female with less strength than I once had that is determined to play with wood now that I have time. Your explanations and tips seem easier for me to absorb. I don't mean to sound sexist but sometimes listening to the make videos is just more information than I can absorb as a beginner.😅❤

This mitre box is a lifesaver for me. I'm always doing house projects and i don't have a place for big power tools. Great video!

This is the BEST video on this subject. I watched others, and they do not explain how important it is to measure accurately, allowing for the kerf on the OTHER side of your piece, etc. Expert, thorough, concise advice (better than any of the videos by men that I watched!).

Very good job at explaining only what people really need to know pertaining to only the job literally at hand - and not getting ahead or going off into other areas that would mess up the viewers concentration - good job!

Thank you for such a great video. You explained everything I needed to know in detail so this 77 year old crafter could understand.

Super good video explaining clearly how to use Stanley mitre box for beginners. Other videos assumed some knowledge. This starts from zero. Thank you!

I came here because i just bought a saw and the miter box today. I had no idea what the box was for since I only wanted a hand saw 😂 but I'm a woman and we tend to buy things we don't need. I have zero carpentry experience but now I'm excited to use this. Thank you for this video 🤗

Thank you for this helpful, clear, encouraging video! I'm planning to make some simple wood frames for paintings, and was loathe to sink a ton of money into electric tools. This video convinced me to go low-tech for now, and for less than the cost of one power tool, I bought all the supplies I need to begin making frames.

Great video. Thanks for sharing. I use a mitre box from time to time. I have two small wooden mitre boxes and one plastic mitre box. The latter got spoiled very quickly, because the handsaw very soon made unwanted grooves in the mitre box. (the handsaw didn't come with the mitre box) The mitre box you showed in the video looks very handy and sturdier.
I like the cam system and the clamping possibilities of it.

Another great feature is that you can make cuts in evening without waking up everyone within 300m radius.

Great video! I bought a hand saw and miter box to build canvas stretcher bars. It worked great! but since I live in an apartment i still worry my neighbors could hear me sawing. My friend told me that Japanese pull saws quieter and faster, so I bought one but I haven’t tried it yet. Have you ever heard of anyone using that kind of saw in a Stanley miter box? I’ll remember to put the scrap wood on the bottom and hopefully it goes well.
