the middle click is an old school technique that I used since win 7 or maybe XP

Many of these already exist in Windows 10 but I guess that makes me a power user

These are mostly tips for older versions of Windows that have been around for ages.

7:10 you see he's a former apple genius when he's excited about middle click opening new tabs lol

The middle click thing has been on old versions FOREVER. Ctrl+Shift+ESC? Really? Lol. Whats next? You're gonna advise Winkey+Shift+S?

Man, a lot of these "new features" already exists in W10 like clipboard history, middle click to open tabs, taskbar keys, shake to close inactive windows, and those calculators and currency/converters.
It's just they're rarely used so they were overlooked. I personally never used clipboard history.

@9:30 - It's not a 'tip', those two commands do different things. Ctrl+Alt+Del actually sends a system interrupt message as part of its process (a function that dates back all the way to IBM PC era) and the 'esc' method doesn't, so it's actually better to use the 'old' way to deal with some crashing programs as it interrupts their actions and can fix certain lockups.

Middle click, task manager shortcut and shaking windows are already a thing in windows 10...

The Middle Click is a function that's been around since XP. Here's a trick that you might find useful: use the middle click on the back and refresh buttons on your browser.

There is a link to access an official but free version of the HEVC codec for the W10/11 video player. It's hidden in the Microsoft store but it's there. Barnacules made a video about it a long time ago about it so shoutout to him. Still it's stupid that Microsoft won't give out the free codec right away.
Most of the shortcuts shown are just brought forward from Windows 10, but are interesting nonetheless for someone that's not really into PCs. One useful one is CTRL + Start + arrows to scroll through the various desktops and Start + TAB to access them and re-arrange Windows between them.

All good and fine but lots of these if not all are available on Win 10 as well...

Middle click is so powerful. On laptops, ever since Windows Precision Drivers allowed customization of clicks, using three finger clicks as middle clicks makes navigating so much easier.

Also surprised people never knew about Ctrl+Shift+Esc, and Windows+Shift+S, though now you can customize print screen to automatically be snippet as well.

Chromium Edge has been heavily slept on. I now use it as my main browser after setting it up like my chrome. Its so much cleaner now and you can use the same add-ons and themes anyway. Also better integrated on multiple devices than chrome was.

Love how Windows 11 looks and animates. A well overdue facelift to make it more modern and pleasant to use.

All I want is a god damn clock on every task bar for multi monitor setups.. They added it with a win10 update, and now with win11 it's gone again. Bloody hell microsoft.
Also shift-clicking applications no longer opens multiples of the same application, super annoying for when you wanna open multiple explorer windows when moving stuff around.

Most of these tips are already in Win 10 or even Win 7! Win + arrows to snap, Win + V clipboard history, Middle Click open in new tab (you can also use it to close tabs), Win+. for emojis, Ctrl+Shift+Esc task manager, Windows shake...

REALLY good to see MS roll back some Win11 changes with new configurations after the update.

I'll just stick to win 10 until Microsoft improve win 11 😅

The "new" Windows 11 features don't outweigh the aggravation. I'm sticking with 10 for a while... at least until 11 matures a bit.

I wish the video had some more power user tips and tricks, but great video and definitely need to see more of you two doing videos together! Personally been on the beta for the last couple months and it runs so damn good, that my home gaming pc, laptop & work pc are all on 11. I seemed to have a decent performance increase as well!
