I worked at Grand Millennium Al Wahda Hotel Abu Dhabi with a monthly salary of AED1800 with a shared small room accommodation, bus transportation and duty meals! It’s like a salary of a domestic helper!!! 😂😂😂

That’s how my salary was as an experienced hotel receptionist who checks in and checks out hotel guests from different market segments!

Jobs within my field, within 1 hour it has over 100 applicants and they ask for 15 years experience. No thanks rather stay in Uk, pay the tax, be a director on 3x the salary.

One of the things said in the video is quite surprising, I don’t think that it is deemed appropriate to call the recruiters on their phones, considering that their phone number is not even supposed to be public information. If the job post indicates the name of the recruiter, then the maximum you can do is send them an in-app message, but even then, I see that not many of them typically answer messages. In any case, I would stay away from calling your recruiter in the year 2024.

I wouldn’t waste my time in Dubai unless you have family here or friends to help you out. I spent 10 months looking for an entry level job there just to pay my basic bills, wasn’t even being choosy and I couldn’t even find a single basic job despite my qualifications and degree. So I left and never looked back. Dubais job market is extremely shitty. If you don’t have wasta don’t waste your time

Alhamdulillah I myself and my family are current in UAE trying to establish hijrah. At the moment I am working remotely. In the long run I am thinking about starting an online business and possibly even starting a recruitment company.
