Please explain the term ‘cognitively elite’. There is a distinct danger of equivocation here.

How does the emergence of A.I factor into your predictions?

Be kind to everyone... even those who don’t deserve kindness. Love your neighbor... as you would be loved yourself. Listen... hear... respect... filter.

What is your concrete proposal for social policy, taking polarisation into account? Is there more to it than your vague allusions? Why not be concrete yourself and explain your vision clearly and systematically?

How does UBI increase polarisation? And even if it did, wouldn't it at least alleviate basic problems (food, shelter, clothing) for those who end up at the bottom? What is to be said against this?
The renaissance/enlightenment is not just full of naive lofty idealism. Read Machiavelli & Hobbes for example, who address concrete problems of social policy and hierarchy (taking into account NATURALLY NECESSARY INEQUALITY). Physics is not the all-encompassing key to understanding human nature. If it were that easy we would already have "unlocked" ourselves fully and wouldn't need any of the other subject areas (Mathematics, Politics, Philosophy, Religion, Arts, Psychology etc.) Physics may be the most fundamental science; that doesn't mean that all our knowledge is inevitably derived from it. If it were so, Biology and Chemistry would be redundant fields.

Your ideas of equality/inequality and how they are represented historically (especially in enlightenment thinkers) are fundamentally misinformed. You yourself are closer in your argumentation to the Enlightenment than you seem to notice. The natural difference between free individuals (see Spinoza) and the necessity for the state to leave them to their free inequality for example, seems to be close to your own vision. Furthermore, your idea that humans are able to choose between good and evil and are able to take responsibility for how they live their lives (and accordingly end up morally unequal) is also part of Enlightenment thought.

UBI would just promote more breeding and uncontrolled growth among the "low-quality" populations. Just like welfare in the West and Western aid to African countries (which is going to have a profound impact on the future of our planet)

Thanks for the fair minded presentation of Murray's critique of the cognitive elite. Too many people who are obsessed with race get bogged down in the racial tangent. The new societal elite is based on cognitive ability & education, not on heredity as in the past. It's an important distinction & the main point of much of Murray's work.

And I share your concern about genetic engineering further polarizing society. But that's another topic.

Jordan Peterson has pointed out the more egalitarian a society becomes, the more pronounced the genetic, intellectual and sexual characteristics become... more women choose careers such as teaching and nursing... while men choose management and engineering... we are what we are.
