Dr. Charles Murray, the F. A. Hayek Emeritus Chair in Cultural Studies at The American Enterprise Institute, joins Ross Kaminsky to talk about his new book Facing Reality: Two Truths about Race in America

As an American black man; I have found Dr. Murray's work, and interviews, very thought provoking.

Granted I was turned off by the weaponizing of his work by extremists. I am speaking specifically of the Bell Curve. That said the Bell Curve, In Pursuit, Coming Apart and Real Education has provided me plenty information to consider. It has also contributed to my life, in a positive way.

Sacred cows never bring forth greater understanding.

Agree or disagree....I truly appreciate his dedication and scholarship.

I read "The Bell Curve" a couple years ago and was extremely impressed. I received a copy of "Facing Reality" yesterday and started reading it this morning. Excellent interview!

The question that y have about différence in IQ is, did he can be related with the complexity of a culture, language or even the way that civilisation grows. In other way if we have a population about 100 point in average wat level of complexity thos population can manage in their civilisation let say ? Is it a question that we can answer . Is it a possibility that maybe different average in IQ will lead to a différent kind of civilisation or it can be just the fact of the numbers of people who are the higher IQ in the group who Can lead the rest of the population to a certain level ?
